Voted as one of Ontario’s top 100 festivals, this community driven event has been around for over 38 years and still manages to bring together the perfect combination of food, fun, crafts and entertainment. This year’s festival will take place on September 29^th & 30^th at Colasanti’s Tropical Garden in Ruthven and is in support of Community Living Essex County with all proceeds from this event going towards the purchase and maintenance of wheelchair accessible vehicles so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy their community.

Regardless of age, there’s something fun for everyone at the Ruthven Apple Festival! Catch the big parade, let the kids bounce around in the inflatables, explore the ride and game area, grab a bite to eat, take in some live entertainment, check out the car show or shop from over 100 awesome local and craft vendors.

An extra special feature is the Farmer’s Market that’s dedicated to showcasing and selling all of the delicious bounty of Essex-County. Stop by to pick up some fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables and bring a piece of the county home with you.
