Windsor’s only all-day urban street culture festival is back and ready to rock the Ford City neighbourhood on Saturday September 22nd! With lowriders, live graffiti, mural painting, music, skateboarding competitions, shopping art carts, a variety of awesome street food, art & local merch, this isn’t an event you’ll want to miss!
Set up in the 1000 block of Drouillard, you can roam the street on foot to explore everything Dropped On Drouillard has to offer. Three stages will feature everything from electronic, hip hop, punk rock and heavy metal music so you’re bound to discover something chill for your ears to experience.
Play a round at the LED mini golf course, grab a local brew from the 2+ beer tents (19+), Check out the Ford City Residents In Action Community BBQ, get in on a neighbourhood highlight tour from 1:00pm-3:00pm or 5:00pm-7:00pm, walk through the Lowrider Car Show by HHR Customers anytime from 11:00am-7:00pm, get a front row spot for the shopping cart races from 8:00pm-9:00pm, catch live and interactive art displays all day, buy some awesome local goodies and grab a bite to eat from local restaurants.
If you’re into art, you’ll have a chance to explore Ford City’s many murals as you walk down Drouillard and you won’t want to miss The Graffiti Take Over with artists from Detroit to Toronto leaving their mark and painting walls all day!
