Does the thought of wandering amidst millions of twinkling lights fill your heart with joy? We’re thrilled to illuminate the winter night with you this season with three incredible light festivals. The Amherstburg River Lights Winter Festival (Nov 18 – Dec 30) is an enchanting celebration set in the heart of historic Amherstburg. If you get a little chilly, step inside the Gingerbread Warming House to view wonderful artwork and enjoy family-friendly activities. For small town charm, Lakeside Park in Kingsville gets magically transformed into a sea of colorful displays for the Kingsville Fantasy of Lights  (Nov 18 – Jan 7). On certain nights, you can even take the Fantasy Express Train Ride through the park! There’s also a brand new festival in town and Bright Lights Windsor (Dec 8 – Jan 7) is poised to amaze and delight visitors with special light shows, a giant illuminated tree, thousands of lights, a host of iconic holiday characters, horse-drawn carriage rides, and special performances.

We also love to celebrate the season with a spectacular lineup of holiday shows and live entertainment. Thrill to the powerful voices of The Tenors (Dec 16) as they perform in the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor. Enjoy the Windsor Symphony Orchestra’s rendition of your favourite holiday tunes (and sing-along with Santa) at the WSO: Holiday Pops (Dec 15 – 17). Or join Windsor’s favourite philanthropic super-group, The S’Aints (Dec 22) for a Sleighing Hunger charity concert. For an extra-special gift that holds the promise of an unforgettable experience, get the whole family tickets for Crystal: Cirque du Soleil’s First Ever Experience On Ice (Jan 3 – 7, 2018).

In the mood for something a little more off-the-beaten path? How about getting splashed by Santa? Head to Adventure Bay Family Water Park to Swim with Santa (Dec 9) – you might even get a chance to watch Santa catch a wave on the park’s Flowrider! On the other hand, adults may want to don their ugly Christmas sweaters for the Downtown Flight Club’s The Flight Before Christmas (Dec 23) where beer lovers will enjoy a pub crawl buzzing with holiday cheer.
