Windsor’s finest car and motorcycle show will be returning this fall!
On Saturday, Sept. 9th, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. car enthusiasts can look forward to participating in the exhilarating 7th Annual Wheels on Wyandotte. Stop by to see some of the area’s most wild vehicles.
This year, guests of all ages can enjoy the hustle and bustle of rock climbing, visiting the Games on the Move van, and participating in an all-new bike rodeo! Simply bring your bike to give this obstacles course a whirl. Participants can ensure their bicycles are in tip-top shape by visiting the local Bike Safety Clinic. Or, if you’d rather have a leisurely ride, why not take a bike tour around the area to see the wonders of Riverside, the Ford City Murals, and the Vintage in the Village?
For more stationary fun, a silent auction will be held throughout the day. Visitors can take part for the chance to win astonishing prizes such as a $1,000 Windsor Spitfire suite, two adult Triumph bikes complete with helmets and locks, a framed and autographed Luke Wilson jersey, Red Wings tickets, $400 in gas cards – and more!
In case you want to explore the area, the Windsor-Essex Trolley will be traveling between Wheels on Wyandotte and the Pillette Village’s Vintage in the Village throughout the day. The shuttle can be picked up at the Thompson House on the corner of Wyandotte St. E. and Thompson Blvd. and at Midway Convenience on the corner of Wyandotte and Dawson Rd. between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.
All auto and motorcycle participants are advised to register their vehicles on the corner of Ontario St. and St. Louis Ave. at 10 a.m. on the Saturday morning. Registration is $10 per-vehicle. All proceeds from this and the silent auction will help support the Windsor Police Service’s Camp Brombal for Kids.
The public will also be able to vote on their favourite car and motorcycle, and will be eligible to win $250 Riverside Dollars. This can go toward any purchases made within Olde Riverside.
Please be advised that Wyandotte St. E. will be closed between Thompson Blvd. and Jefferson Blvd. during the event.
We would like to thank all our sponsors and drivers for making Wheels on Wyandotte possible.
