Adventure Bay Family Water Park
Location: 401 Pitt St. W.
With waterslides, a surf pool, and wet n’ wild fun galore, there’s always something to do at Adventure Bay. This 35,000 square-foot facility will keep kids busy all day long and with places to relax and dining nearby, kids-at-heart will find great things to do too.
You can splash it up at Adventure Bay every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Windsor Riverfront
Location: Just north of Riverside Dr. between Chilver Rd. and the Ambassador Bridge
Enjoy miles of beauty and open space at the Windsor waterfront. Filled with playgrounds and space for picnics and recreation, it’s easy to be captivated by this beautiful riverside landscape.
The waterfront is also home to several festivals – namely Summer Fest and the Windsor Blues Fest – and the one-of-a-kind sculpture park.
Chrysler Theatre
Location: 201 Riverside Dr. W.
Located in the St. Clair Centre for the Arts, the Chrysler Theatre is dedicated to providing quality entertainment and supporting local performers. The venue allows visitors to be absorbed in anything they choose to see.
The venue is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Windsor Water World Facility
Location: 400 Wyandotte St. E.
This former indoor waterpark is now home to an outdoor splash pad and recreational centre. The pad is open all summer long from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Stop by to have some awesome fun in the sun!
Willistead Manor and Park
Location: 1899 Niagara St.
Be immersed in one of the most notable parts of Windsor’s history at this incredible site. Built by Edward Walker and his wife, Mary, Willistead is a 36-room mansion that stands at the core of a 15-acre park. With tours being held multiple times a year, it is an extraordinary cultural hub to be explored again and again by people of all ages.
The surrounding park space is excellent for recreation and picnics and contains a walking and cycling path and playground.
Olde Walkerville Theatre
Location: 1564 Wyandotte St. E.
Enjoy exquisite local performances in this historical theatre, located in the always artistic Walkerville.
The box office is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday.
Playdium 5 Pin Lanes
Location: 4985 Wyandotte St. E.
Five-pin bowling is a great sport that’s totally unique from its 10-pin counterpart. Plus, it’s great for the whole family and is just 10 minutes away from the US border! Whether you want to celebrate your birthday or just have fun on an afternoon, Playdium is a great place to go.
Ganatchio Trail
Location: Select areas along Riverside Dr. and Wyandotte St. E.
This iconic and intriguing path takes visitors through some of Windsor’s most gorgeous outdoor areas. Perfect for a stroll, bike ride, or rollerblade, you’ve got to experience it to believe it.
Belle River Lakeview Park and West Beach
Location: Just across the street from the Belle River Marina (100 Lake St. Belle River)
With playgrounds, a splash pad, sand volleyball, and an ampheitheatre, what isn’t there to love about this water-side space? All are welcome to soak up the summer in this community oasis.
